Job Description

1.Understanding new model introduction schedule.

2 Study the action plan / BOM related to understand parts to be developed.

3.Study drawings and anticipate manufacturing feasibility

4 Generate Request for quotation document

4b. Source evaluation check suitability of source for development of part

5. Making comparative statements and making cost estimates based on first principle costing / project costing.

6.Price settlement through negotiation

7. Release of purchase order.

8 make gnat chart and monitor progress.

9.co0ordination with other agencies viz MPC / QA / ERC manufacturing take component development from proto development to PPAP stage.

10.transfer of component to regular procurement agencies.

11. Cost reduction through suggestions and integrated cost reduction techniques.

12. Supplier quality improvement .



Additional Information:
Desired Profile
Should be graduate engineer.

should have worked in add / auto materials at least for two years.

Should have knowledge about SAP system

Should have knowledge about reading engineering drawings / making cost estimates / ppap procedure / monitoring development activities with gnat chart / stock and inventory monitoring.

should have good communication skills and have mind set of entrepreneur.
