Software Development Manager JD: From the group that brought you endless.com and myhabit.com, the Retail Customer eXperience (RCX) group is now working on new immersive, shopping experiences for clothing and shoes on Amazon.com. As a development manager who dreams about rich user interfaces powered by high performance AJAX enabled services and have the knowledge and drive to make it happen. As the development manager, you will have business and technical ownership of mission critical systems that manage content and you will create compelling experiences for more than 100MM customers. You’ll lead a talented and nimble team of engineers to create innovative customer experiences around bestsellers, new releases, and applications that highlight the current culture climate of the era. Responsibilities include direct management of 4-10 engineers, creation of functional specs, project management for software within the team, process and quality of service improvements, strategic planning, and management of resources across teams. Successful candidates will be highly quantitative, passionate about customer experience, inventive, and have a strong track record of delivery.
