Experience: 02+ years Levels: Customer Support Engineer (TAC Engineer I / II (Technical Assistance Center -Engineer)) Job Profile: • NetScout Systems has a wide range of Network Management products (software and hardware) based on Windows, Linux and Solaris platforms. • A TAC Engineer would be mainly responsible for troubleshooting the Netscout Network Management Application/product issues. He should possess basic understanding of all Networking topologies and Network Management Systems. • He would be responsible for providing technical assistance (voice/email) to worldwide enterprise customers using NetScout products. This includes troubleshooting and implementation of a wide range of Software and Hardware products. • Assist customers to troubleshoot any Operating System issues, RAID issues or Application issues using remote access tools like Webex. • Assist customers to customize/deploy the product according to their Network designs or topologies. • Understand the Application performance issues/bugs and work with next level teams to get them fixed as soon as possible. Eligibility: a) Engineering graduates in Computer, electronics and Communications stream with relevant experience or Diploma holders from recognized institutes in Computer, Electronics and Communications stream or Masters in IT or MCA or Equivalent with 2-3 years of relevant experience. b) Sound Networking Knowledge - theory and practice c) Should be familiar with high-end network infrastructure. d) Candidate should have at least 1-2 years of Linux, Windows server administration experience e) Candidates with Cisco, Microsoft, Sun certification and exposure to Network Management tools and RDBMS will be desirable f) Candidates having at least 1-2 years of direct client interaction (U.S/Europe) experience would be preferred. g) Valid Passport and willing to relocate to Pune. Skills Required: a) Understanding of Network Administration, management, monitoring and should have worked on variety of networking products. Exposure to Administering Solaris, Linux and Sybase/oracle database will be added advantage. b) Excellent written and oral Communication Skills including good listening ability, customer management and telephone handling skill. c) Willing to work in Evening Shift.
