Joseph Leslie and Co the first company engaged in manufacturing and selling Industrial Personal Protective Equipment in India. This 75yr organisation is inot providing products, services and support to make industries a safe work place for employees. In order to make this possible, JLC has 12 authorized distributors all over the country and Regional Offices in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. They are looking for a Marketing Manager for Fire Fighting and Industrial Vehicles.

>A. Key Performance Areas
>1. Develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies for specified products on an all India basis
>2. Manage marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the product effectively
>3. Implementation of Billing targets at all India level
>4. Responsible for marketing activities across India in coordination with Director. Articulate company and product marketing information to customer and company employees through appropriate marketing techniques
>5. Responsible for interacting with foreign principals on technical support and commercial/pricing matters
>6. Keep a tab on arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, gross margin and profitability
>
>B. Key Responsibilities
>Responsibilities
>Strategic
>• Responsible for managing and coordinating all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
>• Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products and apply this information to increase market share
>• Analyse customer research, current market conditions and competiitor information. Keep periodic update on competition – their strengths, weakness, sales and marketing methods, philosophies and maintain an updated knowledge of new products within the market.
>• Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products. Determine and manage the marketing budget and deliver marketing activities within agreed budget. Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results
>• Develop pricing strategy in coordination with the Director
>• Responsible for working through Regional Managers to achieve top line market share and achieve revenue and brand ob-jectives
>• Review status on a periodic basis through monthly reviews and escalate gaps in targets achieved versus targets set to management . Strategize and put a plan of action to support regions for closing the gaps
>• Periodically review distributor performance through Regional Managers and check on gaps in performance and seek reasons and actionable steps to close the gaps
>• Interact with foreign principals for any technical support or commercial clarification with respect to special projects and pricing
>• Generate, implement and monitor a flexible business plan for assigned market(s) annually
>Operational
>• Ensure regular updates on stock levels in the company
>• Conduct regular meeting with distributors and sales team to discuss target status, product training and sales strategy
>• Monitor all distributors activities and plan regular visits to their territories
>• Conduct customer or training seminars as per the requirement of regions
>• Monitor and analyse all marketing and sales reports received from regional office and also distributor feedback
>• Ensure tenders and quotations are managed seamlessly
>• Finalize and update client list regularly for self and all regions
>• Plan seminars and exhibitions for the year keeping in mind the budget allocation
>• Ensuring all approvals related to consultants and other Government authorized bodies are made in a proper and timely manner.
>• Coordinate, prepare and launch new products for the assigned market(s) with cooperation of the respective sales team in the respective regions
>• Assist in formalizing an advertising schedule which maximizes the allocated budget and impacts directly and positively on the assigned market(s). Coordinate all media scheduling with the Director.
>• Update and monitor regional user/reference lists from foreign Principals
>• Maintain all relevant price lists on a regular basis with proper notification given for price increases
>• Ensure quick response to all sales leads from advertisements, exhibits, mailing and customer enquiries.
>• Oversee the coordination of materials/logistics to meet customer delivery requirements.
>• Ensure the confidentiality of the customer list, mailing lists and other sensitive company information.
>Administrative / Development
>
>• Motivate and monitor sales representatives in Mumbai, regions and distributors on marketing and sales activities
>• To ensure timely orders, and smooth function of action in the system.
>Management Reporting

>• Co-ordinate with Director with respect to distributor appointment, presentation material and seminars
