मजुराच्या मुलाने बनवले देशाच्या शैक्षणिक धोरणाचे बोधचिन्ह
महाराष्ट्राच्या सोलापूर जिल्ह्यात रोजंदारीवर काम करणाऱया मजुराच्या मुलाने तयार केलेल्या बोधचिन्हाची निवड केंद्र सरकारच्या नव्या शैक्षणिक धोरणासाठी करण्यात आली आहे.
देशाच्या शैक्षणिक धोरणाचे बोधचिन्ह निवडण्यासाठी घेण्यात आलेल्या राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील स्पर्धेत नवाज शेखने(३३) साकारलेल्या बोधचिन्हाची निवड करण्यात आली आहे. सोलापूरात जिल्हा परिषदेच्या शाळेत शिकलेला नवाज वैद्यकीय जीवशास्त्रातील पदवीधर असून सध्या पुण्यातील राष्ट्रीय एड्स संशोधन संस्थेत तांत्रिक अधिकारी म्हणून काम पाहत आहे. तसेच 'पीएचडी'चे शिक्षण देखील घेत आहे. नवाज शेख याने घरची परिस्थिती हलाकीची असतानाही वैद्यकीय जीवशास्त्रातील पदवीपर्यंतचे शिक्षण पूर्ण केले. विशेष म्हणजे, नवाजने तयार केलेल्या बोधचिन्हाची निवड केंद्र सरकारच्या नव्या शैक्षणिक धोरणासाठी करण्यात आली. नवाज म्हणतो की, "शिक्षण ही देशाची खरी ताकद असल्याच्या गोष्टीवर मी नेहमी विश्वास ठेवत आलो आहे.शिक्षणाच्या बळावर कोणीही मोठं होण्याची स्वप्नं पाहता येतात आणि ती पूर्ण देखील करता येतात. फक्त योग्य शिक्षण उपलब्ध होण्याची आवश्यकता असते."
तसेच बोधचिन्ह तयार करण्याची आवड पूर्वीपासून असून अशा स्पर्धांमध्ये आवर्जुन भाग घेत असल्याचे नवाज म्हणाला. आतापर्यंत अनेक स्पर्धांमध्ये सहभाग घेऊन शेकडो बोधचिन्हे तयार केली आहेत पण, बक्षिस प्राप्त झालेले हे माझे पहिलेच बोधचिन्ह असल्याचेही तो म्हणाला.
नवाज हा मूळचा सोलापूर जिल्ह्यातील शिंदेवाडी गावात राहणारा असून त्याचे वडिल एका स्थानिक गॅरेजमध्ये १० रु. रोजंदारीवर मजूराचे काम करत असून आई गृहिणी आहे. अगदी लहानपणापासून घरी अठरा विश्व दारिद्र्य असले तरी शिक्षणासाठी आई-वडिलांकडून नेहमी प्रोत्साहन मिळत आल्याचे नवाज अभिमानाने सांगतो. घरच्या परिस्थितीची जाणीव असल्यामुळे शिक्षणासाठी परिश्रम घेण्याची उर्मी सहज अंगी बाणवली आणि वैद्यकीय जीवशास्त्रातील पदवीपर्यंतचे शिक्षण पूर्ण केले, असेही नवाजने सांगितले. आपण साकारलेल्या बोधचिन्हाची निवड देशाच्या शैक्षणिक धोरणाचे बोधचिन्ह म्हणून झाल्याने अतिव आनंद झाल्याचेही तो म्हणाला.
