Client is India's Largest E commerce organisation & its holding company that manages an online media platform, organises corporate conferences and workshops and conducts independent research on the Online Retail Industry in India. The company plans to expand its base of operations further and has plans of starting a print publication (B2B and B2C), as well as an Annual Awards Ceremony in the category, besides building a thriving research and consulting practice.
Current Opening: Business Analyst
Job Profile :
• The candidate will be required to cover the Online Retail Industry in India and write articles, research reports and editorials on a regular basis.
Academic Qualifications: -
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree (in any field) and a Masters or PG Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication from a reputed college/institution with over 50% marks in annual examination.
Key Responsibilities:-
• The candidate will be required to write articles (800-1,200 words) and research reports (50-100 Pages) on the Online Retail Industry in India and globally, on a regular basis. Additionally, the candidate will be required to conduct interviews with senior management personnel of various companies and may have to travel outside office and city (if required).
Some of the key responsibilities will be:
• Write articles (800-1,200) words on a regular basis
• Create Industry and Sector Specific reports on a regular basis
• Conduct audio, video and e-mail interviews of senior management personnel of various companies at different locations
• Update company database with contact information of industry personnel and contact persons at various companies
• Help in promotion of company activities and events (if required)
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
• Good communication and writing skills
• Must be adept at using MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Conduct independent research using the internet and have basic computer skills in the use of e-mail, as well as gather data from various sources and conduct primary & secondary research.
• Use of open databases such as Factiva, IAMAI, Open Source etc.
