Manager / Manager - SEO Role People Interactive (I) Pvt. Ltd. is a leading multi-brand consumer internet company with several successful global businesses to its credit. We are seeking an experienced SEO professional to join our dynamic and high performing online team as Asst. Manager / Manager - SEO. This person will be responsible for defining, managing and executing the strategy for SEO with the ultimate goal of increasing visibility, traffic, customer acquisition and revenue for the group brands which include Shaadi.com, Makaan.com and Fropper.com Responsibilities • Devise, execute and manage search engine optimization (SEO) for digital assets such as websites, mobile sites, applications, videos and social media platforms, and drive increased value from search engines. • Implementing optimized titles, meta tags, internal linking & content optimization for all website pages. • Undertake Off-Page activities that include submissions on classifieds, directories, social bookmarks, forums and reviews. • Working with the development teams to improve site structure, optimize page layout, and indexing and rankings. • Improve Rankings of product on mobile platforms with Mobile SEO strategies. • Take full ownership of websites performance in organic search. • Identifying areas of improvement & opportunities in natural search. • Strategizing link building and recommendations for upcoming keywords and business insights. • Deciphering search engine algorithm through small/controlled/measurable experiment. • Social media viral marketing on personalized search platforms. • Managing team and helping them grow. Build understanding & train teams on SEO best practices to be followed within the organization. • Report on the overall SEO health of our key digital assets and competitions on going basis. • Monitor and report on organic search metrics and analyze trends. • Generate reports with tools like Advanced Web Ranking, Inspyder, Google webmaster tools or similar Organic tools. • Creating flow documents, specifications & guidelines. Requirements • Graduate/ post graduate with 4-7 years of experience executing SEO for large brands having dynamic content. • Proven track record of delivering tangible results on visibility, traffic and conversions. • Solid understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, site architectures and strategies. • Expert in all areas of SEO including strong technical skills (html, scripting, programming, site architecture and content management systems). • Comfortable coordinating with Designers, Programmers & Content Writers regarding changes required in the sites. • Experience in managing relevant SEO Tools. • Ability to anticipate or quickly react to ever changing search engine landscape and algorithms by staying on top of current search engine news, trends, practice and social triggers. • Ability to utilize social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, blogs and articles to influence search engine visibility. • Create search engine and human friendly content for new pages, blogs and article. • Strong understanding of web analytics and ability to derive meaningful insights for creation of organic search strategies. • Excellent verbal, written and presentations skills Good to have • Previous experience with site migration a plus. • Understanding of SEM and other online marketing channel. • Mumbai based.
