Desired Profile:
* Any Graduate
* Post Graduate in Management, qualifications in Marketing would be preferred.
* Minimum of 8 years with at least 5 years in in a similar role or assisting role in a manufacturing firm
* A demonstrable track record of exceptional achievement, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), interpersonal skills, presentation and project management skills.
* A high level of professional maturity, strong work ethic.
* This position requires the ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable marketing strategy and implementing the same.
* Should be creative, resourceful, result oriented, self driven and good in analytical skills.
Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager would be responsible for building and strengthening the brands of all product lines for pan India. He would be responsible to devise and drive the Marketing strategies in coordination with the sales team that can increases customer base and maximize the sales revenue. He needs to drive initiatives to strengthen, monitor brand health and brand performance in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
The individual would be expected to research, identify, analyze, evaluate, design and deliver product opportunities and solutions to achieve business objectives and competitive advantage ensuring that is recognized as a significant player in all markets it operates in.
Specific focus areas are:-
Marketing Planning and Implementation:
* Plan and execute Company" Goals and Strategies to achieve the targeted revenue; Provide requisite inputs to sales team.
* Develop and Drive the marketing plan and implementation strategy to achieve brand sales
* Develop methodologies for market analysis and conceptualize strategies to attract, retain and strengthen the customer base
* Design and support implementation of regular marketing activities and events
Relations : Corporate Communication and Public
* Develop website and ensure periodic updation.
* Build and provide visibility to corporate image; Market and promote the company and its products and services through publications, promotional materials, public relations, newsletters advertisements, exhibitions, seminars etc
Drive Brand Performance:
* Manage the existing products in terms of market offering, product feature enhancement etc by market/distribution segment.
* Partner with respective BU Heads to drive the product enhancement initiatives for the existing products and strengthen brand compliance.
* Identify and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction index like addressing quality issues, reducing customer complaints etc.
Market Intelligence:
* Use market intelligence, sales data, business projections, and other relevant information to identify and tap new business areas.
* Undertake feasibility evaluation for new business areas to assess technical, cost, and manpower resource requirements, also study market potential of new businesses
* Identify, network and build existing and new business relationships, and partners/ agents in order to keep abreast of latest market trends/competition; and seize business opportunities.
Branding :
* Developing communication mix to increase reach and frequency of brand in the market.
* Ensure brand positioning in line with consumer insights.
* Align field activities to strategic priorities.
* Analyze company"s marketing programs and find ways to increase effectiveness.
* Review and implement improvement plans in existing promotion materials like the company website, catalogue, corporate movie, advertisements, exhibitions etc.
* Develop new promotional tools, launch programmes for new product, marketing schemes, corporate sponsorships, festival or seasonal marketing etc
Coordination with other departments agencies and authorities:
* Put systems and processes in place for effective coordination of sales and service team with Production, Quality, R and D and material departments for
 Providing inputs for new product/service development
 Providing customer feedback to improve existing products and services
* Partner with external agencies for generating sales promotional material, marketing collaterals, media campaigns
* Partner with various external government /private agencies for acceptance of the material.
* Responsible towards timely delivery of information/ reports required by Sales and operations teams
